Sail View Ave.

This project was on Sail View avenue in Rancho Palos Verdes.  We landscaped the slope that ends in a canyon using native Palos Verdes Stone and decomposed granite.  We turned a maintenance useless slope into a nice area for a vegetable garden, play area for the kids, and easy to walk pathways.  We also built a long landscape tie wall at the top of the slope which extended the lawn area at least 10 feet over the slope.

This project is on Argonne Avenue in Long Beach that uses a nice mix of drought tolerant shrubs and succulants.  We also made use of other elements like boulders and decomposed granite/flagstone for the path.

Argonne Ave.

Bixby Knolls

This project was a lawn conversion to drought tolerant plants and a more efficient irrigation system.  The project took advantage of the City of Long Beach program that pays residence to take out their lawn.

The shrubs were purposely under planted to maintain a natural grown habit as they mature. By the end of summer they will be nicely sized, easily maintained, and lush. Notice we slightly mounded the otherwise flat yard.
