Botany 101: Vegetable Gardening
Young gardeners will plant vegetables, chart
growth, learn about famous botanists, and take
a field trip to the UCR Botanic Gardens.

Cooking 101: Jr. Chefs
Young chefs will learn basic food prep
techniques and learn to prepare an assortment
of healthy, delicious meals and snacks.
Session 2

History 101: Riverside Roots
Students learn about Riverside’s history and historical figures and see our city firsthand as we take field trips to local landmarks.

Technology 101: Coding
Students will learn basic computer coding in this
fun and interesting summer class.
Session 3

Biology 101: Birds & Butterflies
Students of all ages will enjoy this experiential
learning class. Students will catalog the summer
birds of ASCA, put together a powerpoint or
poster, make a bird feeder, make a certified
monarch butterfly way-station, meet a local
birder and take field trips to the San Bernardino
County Museum and Sycamore Canyon.

Art 101: Be an Artist
A papier-mâché bird mobile, an ASCA Lion, and
figure drawing using DaVinci’s relative
measurements are some of the cool projects
students will create in this summer art class.

RCC Swimming Lessons may be added to ASCA’s Session 1. Please fill out and submit RCC's Swim Program Registration Form directly to RCC, ASCA, or complete online. Select the 3:15pm-3:55pm time slot.
