Google Sign-Ups

I will be asking Learning Coaches to sign up for a Google Account. This is the first year we will be piloting Google Classrooms. It is a new way of learning and collaborating, but the best part is your student will be learning skills they can use in the modern workplace. Although it is not required, I believe you will find it to be extremely useful as we share documents with your student. Why? Because having a Google account will help make your student's documents more secure as only your sign in with Google will provide access.

Students this year will be given Google Accounts (not Gmail) to correspond with CAVA, but Learning Coaches will not receive these accounts. This is why I need you to go grab one, so we can share in your student's work.

WHAT IF I ALREADY HAVE, LIKE, 3 OTHER EMAIL ADDRESSES?!

Do not worry, you can use your non-gmail accounts to create a Google account. You do not need to create a new email address. If you decide to go with Gmail, you can also Forward your email to your current non-Google email address.
