50 States and Capitals

Fifth graders must be able to identify and locate the 50 states and capitals. Although they do not need to memorize these facts, they may do so for a higher grade.

Attached is a blank map. Turn a completed map in with your monthly work sample. It will count as a History sample.

Grading Scale:

4: Map was written down by memory. Learning Coach will sign off on the map being turned in.

3: Map was accurately completed by copying another map

2: Map was completed, but States and/or Capitals were wrong and/or missing.

1: Map was not turned in to me by May 31, 2017.
